By using ByeStuff (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ByeStuff is a platform that helps people sell household items before a move. We provide tools to photograph and list items, schedule open houses, manage buyer RSVPs, and process payments for premium features.
ByeStuff is a listing and scheduling tool. We are not a party to any transaction between sellers and buyers. All sales happen in person between the parties involved.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
As a seller, you agree to list only items you legally own and have the right to sell, provide accurate descriptions and fair pricing, ensure your open house location is safe and accessible, and comply with all local laws regarding garage sales and moving sales.
As a buyer, you agree to honor your RSVPs and arrive at scheduled times, treat sellers and their property with respect, and understand that all purchases are final and made directly with the seller.
Free accounts are free forever. Paid features (Boost, Liquidation) are one-time purchases processed through Polar. ByeStuff does not take any commission on items you sell. Refunds for paid features may be requested within 7 days of purchase if you have not used the feature.
You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant ByeStuff a license to display it as part of the Service (your listing page, map discovery, etc.). We may use AI to analyze photos for the purpose of generating item descriptions and price suggestions. We do not use your content for training AI models.
You may not list illegal items, weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything that violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.
ByeStuff is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes between buyers and sellers, loss or damage to items, personal injury during open houses, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
